Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 3G + Wi-Fi 16GB

Samsung has placed itself in direct competition with the iPad 2 with its Samsung Galaxy Tab range. And now, after releasing both 10.-inch and 8.9-inch models, they are back with another sized Galaxy: the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. While last year’s Samsung Galaxy Tab features Android 2.2 Froyo, the new Galaxy Tab 7.7 runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb, the OS designed especially for tablets.

Just like its older sibling competed with the first generation iPad, the 7.7 Tab competes with the iPad 2. Thinner (7.9mm compared to iPad 2’s 8.8mm) and lighter (it weighs only 335g), the Galaxy Tab 7.7 can be proud of its impressive portability and comfort.

Its chicness and sleek design are further enhanced by its superb Super AMOLED Plus screen (the same screen featured on the Samsung Galaxy S II) that can portray beautiful high resolution photos and videos. Moreover, having an excellent screen doesn’t mean sacrificing your battery life when it comes to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. Its 5100 mAh battery can provide up to 10 hours of video playback.

The Tab 7.7 boasts a dual core 1.4GHz processor, ensuring both power and speed. Furthermore, the task manager application included manages your multitasking operations with ease, making sure there aren’t any delays or bugs.

Small and flat, it only has a 3 MP built in rear camera with LED flash but the small pixel resolution of the camera does not hinder the 7.7 capabilites in any way.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is available in four other versions with different storage capacities: 8, 16, 32, and 64GB.
